Interesting that when Clarence Thomas’ book and t.v. interviews appear, a jury reaches a verdict regarding another prominent Thomas accused of sexual harassment of a female employee- this time Knicks Coach Isiah:

What is telling about this case is Coach Thomas’ double-standard regarding race and language. The man who, as a player, once said Larry Bird wouldn’t have received as much media attention of he were Black, and that his suburban-raised wife speaks “white”, told the grand jury he sees a difference between a white employer and a Black employer calling a Black woman the “b—-” word. Thomas did grow up in different worlds- one his South Side Chicago community, the other at an all-male Catholic school called St. Joseph’s in Westchester, Ill., where he played his high school ball.
